What is Giclée / Fine Art Printing?

Short, it has to do with the small to large format inkjet printers and the media / paper (cotton / rag papers) it’s being printed on. The inks used in this type of printing are pigment based. When set and dry, these inks along with the paper are fade resistant for 100 plus years.  This is the preferred way to produce archival prints.  Work duplicated as a Giclée print is the closest you will get to the original, it’s the highest form of reproduction.

What type of inks are you using?
The highest quality pigments on the market (Epson Inks).  Pigment inks are a big part of what makes Giclée / Fine Art Prints archival. These ink have a life of a 110+ years without fade.

What is a typical Turnaround Time?

If we scan, color correct and produce a fine art print, usually takes 2 to 4 week.  Sending a digital file you have scanned and color corrected, 5 to 7 days turn around.  Die Cut Stickers, Business cards, and Invites, are usually 2 to 3weeks If you need a rush job we can make that happen for a rush fee.

What is the biggest you can print?

We currently can print 44″ wide by what ever length you need.

What if I have an odd size piece of artwork?

We can print, cut & trim any odd size you would like with in a 44″ width.

What size can you scan?
Scanning size up to 30 x 40″ at 300dpi. If you would like a higher dpi this is something we can do as well

Can I send you a digital file that is ready for print?

YES! twocrowsprinting@gmail.com or if your file is bigger then 25mb, You can upload it right here.  We will be notified with said upload, but please follow up with an e mail of the name of your piece and the details.

What type of file do you accept?
.PSD .TIFF .AI .PDF .RAW, these files should be no less then 240dpi to 300dpi for best results when printing.

What type of material are your stickers printed on?
It’s a 6mil vinyl with a 5mil backer making the finished die, circle, or square cut sticker 11mil.

Are your stickers water and weather proof?
Yes.  We laminate the vinyl stickers with a 3 mil lamination.  This makes the stickers we offer able to stand up to to all the elements, along with being water proof.  With the pigment inks and the lamination, these are fade resistant and can last 4-5 years outdoors.

Can you print on the back of the stickers?
No.

Do you offer internal cuts on stickers?
Yes.

What is the turnaround time for die cut stickers?
5 / 7 business days.  If you have a order larger than 500 it can take up to 7 / 14 business days.

What is a standard size for a Business Card?
Inches 2″ x 3.5″ / 3.5″ x 2″ | Centimeters 5.08cm x 8.89cm / 8.89cm x 5.08cm

What if I want the card in a square shape or rectangle?
We can do that!  You can have a card printed and cut at 2″ x 2″ (square) or a 1.5″ x 3.5″ (rectangle).

What thickness are your Business Cards?
We start off at 18pt / 140lb card stock.  We also offer digitally printed cards of thickness at 12pt 14pt 16pt 20pt and 24pt.  Letterpress business cards start at 32pt and go up to 45pt.

Are your banners for indoor or outdoor use?
Indoor.  They can be hung out doors for short use but not long term.
